What we think
USWE (pronounced - YOU-SWEEE) makes one thing: phenomenal product.
Lately, if you've been paying attention to some of the racing scene, you've seen these on some world-class athletes crushing events like Leadville 100, UNBND Gravel, or SBT GRVL.
USWE makes bounce-free action packs that provide the perfect fit on an individual level – developed and tested together with top athletes, pro mountain bikers, and core weekend warriors since 2007. Their mission from day one is to design packs that you can wear in action with a super-snug race fit.
Why is it different?
Outlander is a superlight race hydration pack developed and designed around pro mountain bike athletes originally. The pack is stripped off to go minimum on weight and to maximize the ventilation at the front. It’s like wearing nothing at all.
This pack has revolutionized what athletes experience when training and racing with a backpack. Before, it was all a gamble between comfort, unnecessary weight, and hassle. Now, the choice is clear with a pack that allows plenty of hydration but fits like a glove that truly doesn’t bounce around.
The Outlander 3 JR
This is a blend of their slim style of hydration pack with a big tanker of hydration for the extreme races. The Outlander 3 JR is stocked with a 1.5L Elite hydration bladder, high-vis features, and a detachable multi-pocket for any day out on the trails. It's suited for smaller riders or young shredders due to its XS harness.

Detachable Multi Pocket
The total pack volume is 3 liters but can easily be transformed into 2 liters by removing the external multi-pocket where you carry your spare tube, multi-tool and/or rain jacket. It’s simply your race mode that will decide if you go light or superlight for the day. You can even secure a full-face helmet on this baby! For visibility there's an easy and secure attachment for a bike LED-light, and reflective points both front and back.
How do I use it?
For long rides, races, or training sessions in the backcountry. The USWE Outlander will allow a smaller rider or your young one to pack more fluid and fuel along with them while minimizing its weight and presence.
