Maurten’s Hydrogel Technology ensures smooth, efficient energy delivery, minimizing the risk of GI distress so you can focus on your performance. 

 

 How to Fuel Section

  • The Gel 160 is designed to be taken prior to your swim leg to give you 40 grams of quick carbs. Coming out of the water, consume another gel 100 or gel 100 caf 100 to smoothly transition onto your bike leg.
  • Combine 1 x Drink Mix 320 or DM 320 CAF with 1 x DM 160 in each 750ml bottle to create a 120g carbohydrate drink with 360mg of sodium to fuel and hydrate your bike leg. Sip on drink mix and combine with water for added hydration while using Solids provided on course and gels provided in pack to plus up your carbs when tackling tough rolling hills
  • Gels are provided on course but we recommend having safety stock in the event you miss an aid station. These gels can always go toward your next training session.   
  • Rely one solid to pre load and have one extra solid with you on the bike to eat about 45 minutes bore transitioning onto the run
