Additions are flavor sachets designed to mix with Maurten Drink Mix 160 or 320. They give athletes a palate reset during long training sessions or races by adding a different taste — Apple, Cola, Menthol, or Orange — without interfering with how Hydrogel Technology works.

No. Additions are specifically formulated for compatibility with Maurten's hydrogel platform. Adding them to a properly prepared Drink Mix does not disrupt the hydrogel formation or carb delivery.
Technically yes, but they won't produce much taste. Additions are designed to work with the natural sweetness of Maurten Drink Mix, which helps bring out the flavor profile of each Addition. They're not a standalone flavoring agent.
No — Maurten does not recommend mixing Additions with the Bicarb System. Use Additions only with Drink Mix 160, Drink Mix 320, or Drink Mix 320 Caf 100.
