Kate's Bedtime Recovery Smoothie

The best part of working at the largest e-commerce sports nutrition site in North America is that we are constantly receiving new products from vendors and putting them through their paces. As you can imagine, not everything that comes through the front door gets The Feed's stamp of approval. Over the years, we've experimented with countless concoctions, and although it is difficult to pick just one, the following is my favorite of the moment. Hope you enjoy, and as always, please share your feedback.

While there are many great protein products on the market (Ascent, Klean, Fluid, Vitalfit Planted, SFHSkratch Labs) I like to use Infinit Nocturne in my pre-bedtime smoothie for my protein base.

Next, I add Vitalfit Tart Cherry extract to help with inflammation. Although Infinit Nocturne has 2000mg of Tryptophan to aid sleeping, I consistently have my best nights of sleep when I include Tart Cherry.

If I am worried about calories, I will just add water. However, if I am in the middle of a hard training block, my goto is organic almond milk.

What most of you probably don't know, is that I have a legendary sweet tooth. To satisfy my cravings, I allow for one cheat day per week, where I include chopped up Justin's Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups or Untapped Maple Syrup. Consumer be warned... it is difficult to drink just one serving.
