Smoothies are a great way to get calories before or after a workout, or even for a quick snack. You can make them pack an extra punch when you add a scoop of protein! It's easy to fall into the same smoothie-making routine, but we are here to help you add a little variety. We wanted to share our three favorite smoothie recipes with you, and our favorite proteins to add to them. You can find all of these proteins on our Protein page, so add one or all of them to your next box and test them out!

 

Green Booster: A great way to pack in some greens without having to eat a bowl of spinach.

 

Ingredients

  • 1 scoop of Vanilla or Chocolate SFH Pure Protein
  • 1 cup of fresh spinach (tear the leaves up into smaller pieces before adding)
  • 1/2 cup of frozen, or 1 cup of fresh, berries (our favorite is blueberries and raspberries)
  • 1 Tbsp of peanut or almond butter (optional)
  • 5 ice cubes
  • 8 oz of water, milk, or liquid of choice

 

Blend ingredients for 30 seconds in your blender or mixer and then enjoy!

 

Orange Dream: Creamsicle bar takes a healthy twist. What is better than that?

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 scoop of Vanilla Ascent Whey Protein
  • 1 egg white (optional- for some extra protein!)
  • 8oz of orange juice (your preference on brand or pulp versus no pulp)
  • 6-8oz of water
  • 5 ice cubes
  • Dash of cinnamon

 

Blend ingredients for 30 seconds in your blender or mixer and enjoy!

 

Pumpkin Perfection: Our Pumpkin Perfection smoothie is great for the changing of the seasons and pumpkin is a great way to get extra fiber!

 

  • 1 serving of Vanilla Strengthlete Complete Protein
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin puree (NOT pumpkin pie filling)
  • 1 medium banana
  • Dash of cinnamon
  • 8oz of water, milk, almond milk or coconut milk
  • 5 ice cubes

 

Blend ingredients for 30 seconds in your blender or mixer and enjoy!
