Hi, I’m Johann (Yo-hann), originally from Cape Town, South Africa. I spent my twenties living and racing in Europe with Team Dimension Data as a domestique, where I competed in four Grand Tours, all the cobbled and Ardenne classics, and most races on the World Tour calendar (though not the Tour…).  After retiring from racing, I moved to the U.S. and transitioned into operations and team leadership. I started at The Pro’s Closet, then stepped outside the cycling industry to work as an Operations Manager at DoorDash. While that experience was incredibly valuable, I missed being around like-minded people and the outdoor-driven culture that first drew me to this space. That’s what makes me especially excited to be with The Feed. Outside of work, I’m a proud husband and dad to a bubbly three-year-old
