The Z2 Gels are made with a specific 2:1:1 blend of three types of carbohydrates meant to provide immediate and steady energy. The maltodextrin provides immediate energy with its high glycemic index and rapid absorption. Fructose works through different intestinal transporters, effectively creating additional pathways for carbohydrate absorption when paired with glucose-based carbs.

The Z2 Energy Gel Lineup
These regular Z2 Gels come with 25g of carbs and two flavor variants offering 105mg or 204mg of sodium.
The standard Z2 gels contain only the 2:1:1 carbohydrate blend without any performance additives. The Z2+ variants include specific performance compounds - here's where the + part comes in:
- Pineapple Mint offers 1g of BCAAs including 250mg of Taurine in addition to the standard.
- Iced Coffee offers 100mg of caffeine and 500mg of Taurine in addition to the standard.
