How to Use the USWE Bike VST
Load it smart: Use the two main zippered compartments to separate your repair kit (tubes, CO2, multi-tool) from your layers and nutrition. The top pocket is ideal for items you'll grab on the move — sunscreen, gels, a phone. The hip belt pockets hold a 500ml soft flask or small snacks within reach without stopping.
Set your hydration: Load the 3.0L bladder (sold separately) into the rear hydration compartment for long days, big climbs, or when you're far from water. For shorter rides or bike park laps, leave the bladder at home and use the storage for extra gear.
Dial the fit before you ride: Adjust the torso length and shoulder straps before your first ride — not mid-trail. The pack should feel locked to your back with zero movement when you shake it. If it shifts, tighten the hip belt and side panels.

USWE Bike VST Hydration Vest FAQ's
Everything you need to know before getting started.
No — the pack is sold without hydration. It's compatible with USWE's 3.0L Elite Hydration Bladder (with Plug-n-Play coupling) and the 2.0L Elite Bladder, both available as add-ons through the VST configurator. An insulated bladder sleeve is also available separately to keep your water cooler on hot days.
USWE sizes by chest circumference measured around the chest just under the armpits. M fits 86–98cm, L fits 92–104cm, and XL fits 104–116cm. For XS riders (68–80cm), the Small Size Harness add-on is required. The pack fits M–XL with the included Standard Harness.
A flexible attachment system on the outside of the pack lets you secure your helmet when it's not on your head — at aid stations, on shuttles, or during transitions. It's designed to hold the helmet securely without it swinging or impacting your ride. This feature is specific to the Zippered VST and is not available on the Vest-style VST.
The Rush 8L is a purpose-built MTB vest — lighter, vest-style, and designed for race-pace riding where minimal weight and fast front access matter most. The Bike VST Zippered is the choice when you need more storage capacity, better organization across multiple compartments, and the flexibility of a modular system you can configure for different conditions.
