Product Description

Your ankles and lower calves keep working through every mile of a long run or ride, and support up there matters most when the weather is warm and extra fabric is the last thing you want. A thin sock with firm compression that rises to low-calf gives you that support is exactly what Swiftwick's Aspire Mid-Crew is.

The Aspire Mid-Crew is an ultra-thin, firm-compression sock with Olefin moisture-wicking fibers, giving your feet, ankles, and lower calves support in a sock light enough for hot days.

Support that reaches low-calf – The mid-crew cuff and firm compression support your ankles and lower calf muscles, which helps reduce fatigue on long runs and rides while guarding against ankle strikes and shoe abrasion.

Cool, dry feet in a taller sock – Olefin fibers move moisture away from your skin and a channeled upper adds airflow, which helps keep your feet cooler and drier on warm days.

A thin sock that stays put – A Y-shaped heel moves with your foot and the minimum-cushion knit keeps the sock thin inside your shoe, which helps limit bunching and slipping.

Olefin is a lightweight synthetic fiber that carries sweat away from your skin and dries quickly. It makes up 18% of this sock, alongside 79% nylon for durability and 3% spandex, the stretch fiber that lets the knit hug your foot and return to shape. Swiftwick calls its fit Contoured Compression, a firm knit that wraps the shape of your foot and arch and extends up the leg to mid-calf.

Swiftwick lists running and cycling as the best uses. The thin profile and calf-height support suit long efforts in warm weather.

Cushioning is minimum and compression is firm. That makes it the thinnest, tightest-fitting mid-crew option next to Swiftwick's Flite XT and Pursuit socks.

Olefin is a lightweight synthetic fiber that moves moisture away from your skin and dries quickly. Swiftwick uses it as the signature moisture-wicking fiber in the Aspire.

Per Swiftwick's comparison, the Aspire has firm compression and minimum cushion. The Flite XT Mid-Crew and the Pursuit Quarter Crew High both have moderate compression and medium cushion, and the Pursuit is made with merino wool.

It is 79% nylon, 18% Olefin, and 3% spandex.

Machine wash cold, tumble dry low, and do not bleach or iron.
