Product Description
Training outside with music can be a challenge. You want good, clear sound from an earbud that doesn't wiggle out, but it also means sharing the world with cars, pedestrians, and other things you still need to hear.
Shokz OpenFit Air 2 was built for that. They cut weight everywhere that matters, bringing each earbud down to 7.2 grams while keeping the secure hook fit the brand is known for and an open-ear sound that can't be beat.
Lighter, not looser – At 7.2 grams per earbud, this comes in about 17 percent lighter than the original OpenFit Air, and the nickel-titanium hook still flexes to your ear shape, so extra hours in the gym don't turn into a fight to keep them seated.
Sound that stays sharp – A dual-driver Bassphere setup pushes bass and mid-range through two separate speakers instead of one, so a low-volume warmup playlist or podcast still comes through full instead of tinny, which matters more than raw volume when you're wearing these for hours at a stretch.
Calls that survive a windy trail – Two microphones paired with an onboard filtering algorithm strip out wind and traffic sound before your voice reaches the other end, so you can take a check-in mid-run without repeating yourself.
Built for training – IP55 sweat and water resistance handles a soaked long run or a rainy ride, and the ear hook holds through intervals, hill repeats, or a full gym session without a mid-set adjustment.
The frame holding these together is a 0.75 millimeter nickel-titanium alloy wire, a shape-memory metal that springs back into form after you stuff it in a gym bag. The open-ear design angles sound at 30 degrees toward your ear canal instead of sealing it off, so you can still hear a training partner or a car merging into the bike lane while music plays. IP55 resistance covers rain and hard sessions, though it isn't a swim-rated seal.
How to Use the OpenFit Air 2
Charge fully before first use, then pair through Bluetooth settings or, on Android and Windows, with a single tap through Fast Pair and Swift Pair.
A 10-minute top-up in the case between sessions adds roughly 3 more hours of playback, useful when a swim replacement runs into an afternoon workout.
The pressure-sensitive button replaces a touch panel, so sweat and stray hair won't trigger it by accident.
Do not charge the earbuds while wet, and do not wear them for swimming or showering, per Shokz's stated care instructions.

Shokz OpenFit Air 2 FAQ's
Everything you need to know before getting started.

It's light, comfortable, and stays secure through whatever you're doing. You get clear open-ear sound, controls you can press without looking, and a case small enough to pocket.
The speaker sits at a 30° angle, aimed right at your ear. Sound takes the shortest path in, so it comes through clear and natural.
Bassphere™ uses a round dual-speaker setup to boost low frequencies. OpenBass™ 2.0 tunes the bass further for more depth and texture. Together, they give you full, balanced sound across lows, mids, and highs.
Wear them at the gym, at your desk, around the house, or outside. They keep your audio and calls private with minimal sound leakage, so the people around you aren't disturbed.
Audio technology OpenFit Air is built on DirectPitch™. OpenFit Air 2 adds Bassphere™ and OpenBass™ 2.0, with a dual-driver system in a compact unit for richer bass and a fuller soundstage.
