Each Carbofuel, packs 45g of carbohydrates and 400mg of sodium in a light and tasty format. It is a great option for athletes looking to get in a decent amount of carbohydrates while maintaining their hydration needs. Often, we see athletes over-indexing on carb-heavy drink mixes and neglecting their fluid and/or sodium intake. This is right in that sweet spot and allows for your to add gels, chews, etc. as needed.
Utilizing a ratio of 1:0.5 glucose: fructose, it maximizes the load on our bodies’ various transporters to prevent digestive issues at even the highest carbohydrate intake. With a push for higher and higher carbohydrate protocols, this balance becomes even more important for allowing for effective fueling up to 90-100g/hour.
How to Use SANTAMADRE Carbofuel:
Take 1-2 Carbofuel mixes per hour, alongside ample fluid, to easily hit various fueling and hydration needs. You can rely solely on these to meet 45g - 90g per hour and can then add other products (like gels and chews) to meet higher fueling needs.
