What we think

A Rip Van Wafel is distinguished from your standard waffle. Inspired on the traditional Amsterdam stroopwafel but much lower in sugar (8g) while still delivering on the carbs (19g), dutchman Rip started making these in his dorm room as a college senior at Brown University.

Rip Van Wafels use simple NON-GMO ingredients, the same kind you’d use if you made them in your own kitchen like eggs, flour, sugar, baking soda and salt. Plus a few nutritious ingredients like, oats, chickpea flour and flax seed oil for an extra dose of Omega 3s. They are soft, easy to chew and don’t pack an overdose of calories or carbs. They’re perfect.

We truly believe there is no wrong time to have a wafel.  First thing in the morning they go great topped with greek yogurt, nuts and dried fruit or with a steaming cup of coffee. Mid-morning they make a great snack. Slap some nut butter on them and they make the perfect sandwich. Enjoy them placed on top of your 3pm cup of coffee as it cools down and taste a perfectly warmed wafel. Let them carry you through your evening workout, and if you give us time I’m sure we can find a way to make dinner with them.

Love these for everything

Great for a punch of sustainable energy while reading and easy to eat/open on the bike. Also use daily for my commute and they're super handy to throw in a bag/drawer to keep around for when I'm feeling peckish.

Great snack

These waffles taste fantastic, have fewer calories than many similar products and are easy to eat while riding. They don't just sit in your stomach during a long ride but are very easy to digest. I also just eat them as an afternoon pick me up at the office.

Pre-Race Routine

These guys are awesome an hour before a hard run, just the right amount of carbs I need and I can easily digest them in time. The coconut flavor is my all-time favorite, second is the oat. Super crumbly, only complaint.

There's a reason these things were out of stock for a while last year. They're great on a ride, especially if they get warm and soft in your bike bag out in the heat. They're also a wonderful snack. Try them with tea!
