Product Description
Interval reps, hill repeats, and sprint sessions raise your heart rate in seconds, and a wrist sensor can trail behind those shifts or become unreliable when the terrain is rough. A chest strap is the safest way to record accurate and consistent heart rate while still training with your watch.
The Polar H10 Heart Rate Sensor sends that beat-by-beat reading to your watch, phone app, or gym equipment over Bluetooth or ANT+.
A year of training on one battery – The sensor runs up to 400 hours on one coin cell, which equals more than a year of one-hour sessions every day. When it runs low, you swap in a new CR2025.
One strap for every device you train with – Bluetooth and ANT+ let the H10 pair with Polar watches, training devices from other brands, fitness apps, and gym equipment. If you change watches or move indoors, the same strap keeps working.
A strap that stays put and washes clean – Silicone grip spots hold the sensor against your chest as you move, a firm buckle keeps the electrodes in contact with your skin, and the soft textile strap stays comfortable on long sessions. After training, you remove the sensor and machine wash the strap.
ECG sensors pick up the electrical signal your heart produces with every beat, which travels through body fluids to your skin where the strap's electrodes read it, and the chest sits closest to the heart. Optical sensors on watches shine light into your skin and track blood flow changes instead, which suits all-day wear but can be thrown off by arm movement and ambient light.
How to Use Polar H10 Heart Rate Sensor
Setup: Moisten the electrode areas on the strap for best contact, fasten it snugly around your chest against bare skin, and snap the sensor on. Then select the H10 in the sensor menu on your watch or app.
After training: Remove the sensor, then machine wash the strap and let both dry.
Replace the battery with a CR2025 coin cell only, since a CR2032 can damage the sensor.

Polar H10 Heart Rate Sensor
Everything you need to know before getting started.

ECG measures the electrical signals from your heart through electrodes on your skin. Watch sensors shine light into your wrist and track blood flow, which suits all-day wear but can be affected by arm movement and ambient light.
It connects over Bluetooth and ANT+ to Polar watches, training devices from other brands, fitness apps, and gym equipment. Confirm that your device supports Bluetooth or ANT+ sensors before you order.
It uses a CR2025 coin cell rated for up to 400 hours of training, and it is not rechargeable. Do not substitute a CR2032, since it can damage the sensor.
It is water-resistant to 30 m (WR30), which covers sweat and splashes during training.
The XS-S Pro Strap fits chest sizes of 62 to 82 cm (about 24 to 32 in), and the M-XXL fits 71 to 118 cm (about 28 to 46 in). Measure around your chest before you order.
Remove the sensor, then machine wash the strap. Let both dry before your next session.
