With the launch of the SOLID 160, we built a special pack to go hand in hand with the 160 product line. Now, you can fuel from a variety of ways (drink, gel, or bar) and keep the fueling calculations simple.

What you get:

How to Fuel:

The updated SOLID makes for a seamless fueling system. Each Maurten product is built around 40g carb doses, so whether you use the Drink Mix, SOLID, or Gel 160, you can easily keep track of your fueling. 

For example, in one hour, if you now consume:

• 1 x Maurten Solid (40g)
• 1 x Maurten 160 Gels (40g)
• 1 x Bottle of Maurten Drink 160 (40g)

You are consuming 120g of carbs without even breaking a sweat, well, you better be.

We suggest using the Gel 160 and Drink Mix 160 more heavily on harder training days and races. Meanwhile, you can add the SOLID 160 as you see fit in longer endurance days, events, and shorter sessions. This allows your to meet both hydration and fueling goals while sticking to a simple 40g scale.

There are a few other ways to add Maurten SOLID to your routine:

• Use Maurten SOLID as a treat the night before a big event. Easily digestible overnight, it will keep you full, but also make sure your glycogen stores are fully topped up pre-big workout or race.

• Use Maurten SOLID as part of your post-workout refueling plan to curb hunger attacks and rebuild your glycogen stores quickly.
