Product Description
The Honey Stinger Energy Gels are some of the most simple and best-tasting gels we’ve ever tried.
Honey Stinger changed the game when they introduced these honey-based gels to endurance athletes, in large part due to the use of better ingredients (like organic tapioca syrup and organic honey) which provide two easily digestible sources of sugar.
These sugars are completely natural and provide the same energy you are looking for.
All About That Honey
Honey is a great source of carbohydrates because it contains both glucose and fructose, allowing the body to absorb more at once without stomach distress and to better use them as fuel.
These gels have a thinner consistency than others, making them easy to eat, digest, and absorb during exercise. Both the Energy Gel and the Gold Gel are amazing options and provide unique flavors. They are certified gluten-free and use tapioca syrup, honey, and added electrolytes – but the Energy Gels use certified organic ingredients. These gels for optimal fuel and fluid delivery during your workouts. They are also soy and dairy free.
Now offered in a variety of flavors, including two caff options, one with 32mg of and one with 70mg. Honey Stinger Energy Gels offer plenty of dang-tasty options. Flavors vary in sweetness and intensity with Gold giving a lighter flavor, while Fruit Smoothie and Acai Pomegranate are sweeter and strong in flavor.
How to use Honey Stinger Energy Gels:
We recommend using these during exercise lasting more than 1 hour at a goal of 1-2 per hour to assist in proper fueling. Because they are great for fast absorbing energy, it’s best to use gels in conjunction with solid food and plenty of fluids while on low intensity, longer exercise. If giving it the gas, opt for even 2-3 + plenty of fluids.
Pro tip: add a Gold Energy Gel to hot tea to hydrate with some added sweetness and electrolytes before a cold winter workout.

Honey Stinger Energy Gel FAQ's
Honey Stinger Energy Gel, Answered.

An organic honey-based energy gel with 24g of carbohydrates, added electrolytes, and a thinner consistency that's easy to consume during hard efforts. USDA Organic, certified gluten-free, soy-free, and dairy-free.
Honey naturally contains both glucose and fructose, which means your body can absorb more carbs per hour using both intestinal transporters simultaneously — the same principle behind the 2:1 glucose-to-fructose ratios you see in performance gels. Organic tapioca syrup rounds out the formula. No artificial sugars, no synthetic ingredients.
Thinner than most. That's intentional — it goes down easier when you're breathing hard, especially in the second or third hour of an effort when thick, syrupy gels become hard to stomach. Less fighting, more fueling.
Strawberry Kiwi and Salted Caramel Latte are the caffeinated options. All others — Raspberry Lemonade, Watermelon Lime, Fruit Smoothie, Acai Pomegranate, and Gold — are stimulant-free. Gold has the lightest, most neutral flavor profile if you're sensitive to sweetness on long efforts.
1-2 gels per hour for efforts over an hour. For higher-intensity work, 2-3 per hour with plenty of fluids. Always pair with water, not a sports drink. Pro tip: squeeze a Gold gel into hot tea before a cold morning workout — instant sweetness and electrolytes.
