H2O Audio TRI RUN FAQ's
Everything you need to know before getting started.

The TRI RUN is built for running, cycling, and paddle sports like kayaking and surfing. Note: it is NOT designed for swimming or underwater use — for pool and open water swim sessions, check out the H2O Audio TRI 2 or Sonar 2 Pro.
Instead of sending sound through your ear canals like traditional headphones, bone conduction transmits vibrations through your cheekbones directly to your inner ear. This means your ears stay completely open so you can hear your surroundings while still enjoying your music.
The TRI RUN delivers up to 6 hours of continuous Bluetooth playback on a full charge — enough for most long training runs, century rides, or paddle sessions.
Yes. It carries an IPX8 waterproof rating, meaning it can withstand submersion up to 12 feet. It's built to handle heavy rain, sweat, and water surface sports. It is not, however, designed for underwater swimming use.
The wrap-around neckband design is engineered to stay firmly in place during high-movement activities. The bone conduction transducers rest against your cheekbones without requiring ear insertion, so there's nothing to pop out mid-stride.
