Product Description
Your runs, rides, and training sessions just got a soundtrack — without sacrificing the awareness that keeps you safe.
The H2O Audio TRI RUN delivers premium bone conduction audio and IPX8 waterproof protection in a lightweight, wrap-around design built specifically for land and water surface sports.
Open-Ear Sound That Keeps You Safe – Bone conduction technology transmits audio through your cheekbones directly to your inner ear, bypassing your ear canals entirely. Your ears stay open, so you hear your music and your surroundings at the same time — cars, trail runners, and your training partners included.
Built to Handle Whatever You Throw at It – IPX8-rated waterproof protection means the TRI RUN survives sweat, rain, surf, and paddle splashes without skipping a beat. The secure wrap-around neckband stays locked in place on tempo runs, technical descents, and everything in between.
Premium Sound, No Compromises – Years of bone conduction engineering and H2O Audio's proprietary acoustics software produce amplified bass and clear audio that outperforms what most athletes expect from open-ear headphones. Stream your playlist over Bluetooth 5.3 from your phone or watch, take calls with the built-in waterproof mic, and stay fully dialed in across every session.
How to Use the H2O Audio TRI RUN
Pair, wear, and go. Connect to your phone, smartwatch, or any Bluetooth-enabled device via Bluetooth 5.3 before your workout. Position the neckband securely behind your head with the bone conduction transducers resting against your cheekbones just in front of your ears — no insertion required.
Enjoy up to 6 hours of continuous playback per charge. Charge fully before long training days or events.
Pro Tip: For the best sound on the run, make sure the transducers sit flush against your cheekbones. A snug neckband fit dramatically improves bass response and overall audio clarity.

H2O Audio TRI RUN FAQ's
Everything you need to know before getting started.

The TRI RUN is built for running, cycling, and paddle sports like kayaking and surfing. Note: it is NOT designed for swimming or underwater use — for pool and open water swim sessions, check out the H2O Audio TRI 2 or Sonar 2 Pro.
Instead of sending sound through your ear canals like traditional headphones, bone conduction transmits vibrations through your cheekbones directly to your inner ear. This means your ears stay completely open so you can hear your surroundings while still enjoying your music.
The TRI RUN delivers up to 6 hours of continuous Bluetooth playback on a full charge — enough for most long training runs, century rides, or paddle sessions.
Yes. It carries an IPX8 waterproof rating, meaning it can withstand submersion up to 12 feet. It's built to handle heavy rain, sweat, and water surface sports. It is not, however, designed for underwater swimming use.
The wrap-around neckband design is engineered to stay firmly in place during high-movement activities. The bone conduction transducers rest against your cheekbones without requiring ear insertion, so there's nothing to pop out mid-stride.
