Garmin Enduro™ 4

Product Description

A 100-mile trail race demands everything from you and your gear. You’re looking at 24+ hours of focus, and a dead screen at mile 80 isn’t an option.

The Garmin Enduro 4 records for up to 120 hours on GPS alone, or up to 320 hours with solar charging, in a 51mm case that weighs just 66 grams.

Key Features

  • Weeks between charges
Up to 36 days in smartwatch mode, or 90 days with solar.
  • Built for rough days
A Power Sapphire lens, titanium bezel, and 10 ATM water rating handle rain, sweat, and wet crossings. The built-in LED flashlight (white and red) covers early starts.
  • Race-day planning
Course Planner sets cut-off times, rest plans, and aid-station strategy for your race.
  • See the trail ahead
Preloaded TopoActive maps with perspective view, plus Up Ahead and NextFork, show what’s coming. 64GB holds your maps and music.
  • Hill-smart pacing
Grade-adjusted pace targets account for climbs, so slow uphill miles don’t wreck your plan.

How the Battery Lasts That Long

The long runtimes come from a 1.4-inch memory-in-pixel display, a screen that stays readable in sunlight while sipping power. The Power Sapphire lens doubles as a solar panel. Garmin rates the solar figures at 50,000 lux (bright outdoor sun), and the 90-day figure assumes three hours a day outside at that brightness. Shaded trails and short winter days land closer to the non-solar numbers.

How to Use Garmin Enduro 4

Power mode: Choose Max Accuracy for shorter efforts and Max Battery for the longest recordings.

Solar charging: Keep the lens facing daylight whenever you’re outside.

Multiday efforts: Group consecutive days into a single Garmin Epic in Garmin Connect to see your combined data and share it with family and friends.

Stop settling for a watch that quits before you do.

Solar Power Sapphire lens

Daylight charging with a scratch-resistant lens

The Power Sapphire lens collects light to extend battery life, up to 90 days in smartwatch mode with solar. A titanium bezel and fiber-reinforced polymer case hold the watch to 66 grams with the band, and the 1.4-inch memory-in-pixel display stays readable in direct sun.

Built for the wild

Pacing that reads the terrain

Grade-adjusted pace targets and rolling pace help you hold the right effort on climbs and descents. Stamina zones and the stamina curve show how your endurance changes during an activity and across a training block.

The Enduro 4 doubles onboard storage to 64GB, adds a ComfortFit fabric band, and brings 50% more RAM with faster map panning and a perspective view. It also adds grade-adjusted workout targets, stamina zones, the stamina curve, and Garmin Epic. Headline battery ratings are the same.

The Power Sapphire lens collects light and feeds it to the battery. Garmin rates the solar figures for continuous use in 50,000 lux, which is bright outdoor sun, so shaded or overcast days add less.

Power modes are presets that trade features for battery. Max Accuracy gives full-feature tracking for shorter efforts, and Max Battery is meant for the longest recordings.

Yes. It pairs with both through the Garmin Connect app.
