Honey is a great source of carbohydrates because it contains both glucose and fructose, allowing the body to absorb more at once without stomach distress and to better use them as fuel.
These gels have a thinner consistency than others, making them easy to eat, digest, and absorb during exercise. Both the Energy Gel and the Gold Gel are amazing options and provide unique flavors. They are certified gluten-free and use tapioca syrup, honey, and added electrolytes – but the Energy Gels use certified organic ingredients. These gels for optimal fuel and fluid delivery during your workouts. They are also soy and dairy free.
Now offered in a variety of flavors, including two caff options, one with 32mg of and one with 70mg. Honey Stinger Energy Gels offer plenty of dang-tasty options. How to use Honey Stinger Gels:
We recommend using these during exercise lasting more than 1 hour at a goal of 1-2 per hour to assist in proper fueling. Because they are great for fast absorbing energy, it’s best to use gels in conjunction with solid food and plenty of fluids while on low intensity, longer exercise. If giving it the gas, opt for even 2-3 + plenty of fluids.
Pro tip: add a Gold Energy Gel to hot tea to hydrate with some added sweetness and electrolytes before a cold winter workout.
