Race Highlights
Black Canyon 100K
Tara Dower secured an impressive 2nd place at the “opening ultra” Black Canyon 100K in Arizona. Not only was this a huge result on the heels of setting the Appalachian Trail record last fall, it also gave her a Golden Ticket to the Western States 100.
Mary Denholm put in a strong performance forcing the pace of what has become the fastest Black Canyon in history, but ultimately had to fold her cards at this year’s event. She’s already scheming for next year…
Trans Gran Canaria
Zach Miller tackled the VK (Vertical Kilometer) with a brutal lineup to finish 9th.
Tarawera Ultramarathon
Ryan Montgomery ran a solid race finishing 6th in a wildly tough men’s field.
Lucy Bartholomew placed 12th, producing a solid result to begin her 2025 season.
Hillary Allen made a compelling return to competition and is poised for a strong comeback this season.
