Today I'm launching our NSF for Sport store at The Feed. This is an important update for you, keep reading and I'll explain why you really will care about this.
If you're a tested athlete, you're going to love this. But to be honest, I didn't create this just for athletes who get tested—I did it for EVERYONE who wants to be confident they're getting quality ingredients that aren't tainted or sourced from questionable suppliers.
I recently had some strange blood values for my kidneys. I went to the doctor and went through every supplement I was taking, and there were a few that we don't sell that I was testing. They immediately suspected one of them. I stopped taking it and 3 weeks later my values returned to normal. It wasn't the supplement itself, its that it was likely something that contaminated it. It scared me. So I worked with our team to double down on product testing.
The Amazon Supplement Wild West
Let me be straight with you. I'm concerned about what's happening in the supplement market and my personal scare really brought this to the top of my list, I'm especially concerned about supplements bought on Amazon. It's literally the Wild West out there. We've seen multiple reports of counterfeit products being sold under trusted brand name labels. Fake supplements that look identical to the real thing but contain who-knows-what inside.
Even worse, many products are completely untested, with ingredients sourced directly from China without proper quality control. When you buy supplements on Amazon, there's often no way to verify if what you're getting is legitimate or safe. They say "made in a GMP facility", that literally means nothing to the product quality. I feel it is dishonest that they use this as a benchmark of quality.
This isn't about being anti-Amazon—it's about your health and safety. When you're putting something in your body day after day, you deserve to know exactly what it is.

Introducing NSF for Sport Mode
Today, we're making products that go that extra step on quality even more visible to you. The highest mark of product quality is NSF for Sport certification, and we want to make it easy for you to find these products.
There are actually three levels of NSF certification:
Made in an NSF Certified Facility - Ensuring proper manufacturing practices (like GMP, but more stringent)
All ingredients match the label claim - You're actually getting what it says on the label
Every LOT is tested for banned substances - This might sound like it only matters for tested athletes, but I care about it for ALL Feed customers
That third point is crucial. When every LOT is tested, it means there's nothing bad in the supplements that can disrupt hormones or introduce other contaminants that are harmful to your health. Some other certifications test one lot then do random testing. That means you might receive a LOT (ie manufacturing batch of products) that has never been tested. What you are getting has been tested.
NSF for Sport is the most expensive and most extensive testing in the market, that's why not every brand does it.
