Alexey Vermeulen is an American professional cyclist who has successfully transitioned from the traditional road racing world to become one of the leading figures in gravel and off-road endurance racing. A former WorldTour rider with LottoNL-Jumbo, Alexey competed in some of the sport’s biggest races before shifting his focus toward off-road racing. Alexey has become a consistent contender in events like the Life Time Grand Prix, Belgian Waffle Ride, and other premier gravel races. Through his From the Ground Up project, a non-profit initiative that helps amateur and novice cyclists train for major endurance events, he is inspiring and guiding new athletes.
