Starla Teddergreen

Starla's cycling journey began in 2007 with road racing, reaching a pivotal moment in 2010 when she signed her first professional contract with powerhouse Crit team Vanderkitten, followed by joining UCI team Hagens Berman Supermint in 2017. Despite her role as a domestique in road racing, Starla achieved significant personal successes, including winning the USA Crits overall championship in 2019 and securing UCI Mountain and Sprint Jerseys. Transitioning to off-road racing, she continued to shine with victories and podium finishes. Selected twice for the LifeTime Grand Prix series, Starla looks forward to facing challenges in mountain biking and international gravel races in 2024, taking on her most challenging race to date The Absa Cape Epic. Her story is not just one of accomplishments but also resilience, as she continues to race after an MS diagnosis in 2022, inspiring others along the way through her Distance To Empty program.
