Marc Dubrick
My name is Marc Dubrick. I am a 29-year-old triathlete from the great state of Illinois and a town called Dekalb. Mostly known for the corn and the invention of barbed wire. I grew up competing in swimming and eventually developed a passion for running. During my last years of high school, I had the opportunity to compete in the USA Triathlon Junior Elite series and that's when I discovered my interest in triathlon. Throughout high school, I participated in both swimming and running before deciding to focus solely on running. I continued my athletic and academic career at the University of Missouri where I studied Business Management and Entrepreneurship. After graduation, I pursued my childhood dream of becoming a professional athlete. I am currently in my fifth year as a professional athlete, but it has not all been smooth sailing. 2023 was a breakout year for me. I am excited to keep the momentum going into 2024. It is my goal to be transparent about my nutrition, recovery, and sleep routines to lead to more development and enjoyment in the sport. Outside of triathlon, you can find me working (yes, I have another job), playing a variety of board games, relaxing to some David Attenborough documentaries, and growing as a coffee aficionado.
