Jackson Laundry
Jackson is a Canadian Pro Triathlete with a specialization in the middle distance. He started his endurance sport journey running cross country in grade school, but didn’t start training until late in secondary school as he focused primarily on team sports at a younger age.
While studying at The University of Guelph, he began to focus on Triathlon and started working with James Loaring. This marked a change in focus to elite performance; James has now been Jackson's coach for over a decade with notable improvements every year.
Jackson has earned the respect of fans and peers as one of the best all arounders on the circuit. He is a threat to win every time he toes the line, with 4 Ironman 70.3 Victories and 15 podiums since his first 70.3 race in 2017. He suffered a serious bike crash at the 2019 Ironman 70.3 World Championship, which required 2 surgeries to repair complex breaks in his Shoulder blade and collar bone, but came back stronger with significantly improved results since crash.
In 2021 and 2022, Jackson has continued his upward trajectory. Highlights include: Wins at Ironman 70.3 Oceanside 2022 and Ironman 70.3 Ecuador 2021, 5th and 7th place finishes at the Ironman 70.3 World Championships, two consecutive Collins Cup qualifications, and six podiums in the two seasons.
Jackson Continues to focus on the middle distance in 2023, with a big emphasis on the 70.3 World Championship and PTO Opens.
