Alexis Skarda

Alexis grew up as a runner in Boulder Colorado, influenced by her father who competed professionally as a marathon racer. After several overuse injuries, she turned to cycling for cross training and eventually found a passion for mountain biking on the Colorado Mesa University Cycling team in Grand Junction, Colorado. After graduating in 2013, she decided to pursue racing cross country mountain biking professionally. This passion eventually evolved into marathon length distances in mountain biking and gravel. Her focus for 2023 is on competing in the Lifetime Grand Prix, USA Cycling National events, Marathon World Championships and Cape Epic.
