Product Description

Training volume draws on B vitamins heavily. Energy metabolism, red blood cell formation, and nervous system function all lean on different members of the B family simultaneously, which is part of why isolating just one, active B12 on its own, for example, only tells part of the story if your actual need spans several at once.

Thorne's B-Complex #12 is built to support healthy methylation and neurological function.

Covers eight B vitamins in one capsule – Thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, B6, folate, B12, biotin, and pantothenic acid, instead of managing several single-nutrient bottles.

Fully active B12 and folate – Methylcobalamin and L-5-MTHF are the already-active, ready-to-use forms of these two vitamins specifically, matching what you'd get from Thorne's standalone active-form products.

Choline included too – A nutrient often left out of basic B-complexes entirely, included here alongside the eight core B vitamins.

Not every vitamin in this formula uses the fully active form. Riboflavin and B6 each combine a smaller amount of the active form (riboflavin 5'-phosphate and pyridoxal 5'-phosphate) with a larger amount of the standard form (plain riboflavin and pyridoxine HCl), while B12 and folate are entirely in their active forms. B vitamins work together across cellular energy production, red blood cell formation, and nervous system function, which is the rationale for a broad complex rather than isolating just one or two.

How to Use Thorne B-Complex #12

Dose: Take one capsule one to three times daily, or as recommended by your health-care practitioner.

Note: Check your combined totals before adding this on top, since this complex already includes each of those vitamins, just partially in standard form for two of them.

The folate in this product is not recommended alongside methotrexate cancer therapy, though it has not been shown to interfere with methotrexate's use for psoriasis or rheumatoid arthritis. Consult your healthcare practitioner before use if pregnant, nursing, or taking any medication.

Training volume draws heavily on B vitamins across several fronts at once: energy metabolism, red blood cell formation, and nervous system function all lean on different members of the B family simultaneously. Isolating just B12 only covers part of that picture if your actual demand spans thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, B6, and folate too.

Thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, B6, folate, B12, biotin, and pantothenic acid, plus choline, a nutrient often left out of basic B-complexes entirely. That's eight B vitamins and choline in one capsule instead of managing several single-nutrient bottles.

B12 and folate are fully active, methylcobalamin and L-5-MTHF, the same ready-to-use forms found in Thorne's standalone active-form products. Riboflavin and B6 each combine a smaller amount of the active form with a larger amount of the standard form, so it's a mix rather than 100% active across the board.

Take one capsule one to three times daily, or as recommended by your health-care practitioner. Check what you're already getting from other supplements first, since this complex already covers each of these vitamins on its own.

The folate in this formula isn't recommended alongside methotrexate cancer therapy, since it can interfere with methotrexate's anti-neoplastic activity, though it hasn't been shown to interfere with methotrexate's use for psoriasis or rheumatoid arthritis. Talk to your healthcare practitioner before use if you're pregnant, nursing, or taking any medication.
