What we think
Omius has developed a revolutionary line of accessories that are designed to do one thing: enhance performance (and comfort) in the heat.
A rising core temp is one of the biggest limiters in endurance sports. They may not look like much, but these little pieces of headgear do a remarkable job of cooling your head and retaining your ability to keep pushing.

How does the technology work?
This headgear is what we’d call “passive cooling”. It’s designed with a silicon grid that securely holds its cooling pieces in place (the MVP here). The cooling pieces are a graphite material that sit on your headgear.
By using the power of evaporation, water or sweat is absorbed into the porous graphite material. That creates a 500% increase in surface area for evaporation. This amplified evaporation process pulls heat from the inside of the cooling pieces, which are in direct contact with the skin, resulting in a much more significant cooling effect.
What sets Omius apart is that its cooling effect relies solely on water evaporation. As long as the cooling pieces remain wet and have airflow across them, the cooling process will continue indefinitely. No freezing, charging, or work required.
They’re easily replaceable and transferable, meaning the cooling pieces can swap effortlessly between different Omius products to take them wherever you go.
