Had a great first experience with the Maurten product line. I used the caffeinated and non caffeinated gel with the 320 drink mix. I found the product easy to use and mix. The 320 did have much more taste than I anticipated. Sweet, but not overbearing. The gels were the consistency that everyone discusses...like jello. I used the gels and drink mix for 6+ hour training ride alongside Hammer Heed. I went into the ride thinking that I would not feel a difference from other nutrition products, but I had little to no stomach distress and felt fueled the entire session. I felt a positive difference! I am looking forward to testing on additional training sessions before using on "race day", but a great first experience and well worth the price. - David F.

Maurten Gel 100
How is this "Gel" different? The Gel 100 contains 60% carbohydrates, comes in 40g servings and you don't need to wash it down with water. Its texture is more like Jello –due to their Hydrogel Technology that improves absorption– and is super easy to take down. It doesn't taste very sweet and you could almost say it’s flavorless like Maurten's other products.
