What we think

Here at The Feed, we know how important it is to focus on recovery nutrition. That’s why we love Fluid Recovery! This was one of our first recovery mixes at The Feed.

Why do we love it?

Two important reasons: it tastes great and it works. It contains the optimal blend of nutrients that, when taken immediately after exercise, can help you recover faster, adapt to training better, and get back to 100% quicker for that next hard session.

The time post-exercise, race, or workout is key for capitalizing on the recovery process. While food is a bit more time consuming to find or prep and most recovery shakes can lack an appetizing taste, this one steps it up.

What's in it?

Fluid Recovery contains a 3:1 ratio of carbs to protein to promote replenishing of energy stores and rebuilding of muscles. It contains electrolytes to help with hydration and optimal fuel and fluid delivery to tired muscles. This mix also had L-glutamine, an amino acid that may help with inflammation and immune function, both of which need special attention for athletes.

What're my options?

Fluid Recovery is gluten-free, lactose-free, and even has a dairy and soy free option. It comes in five tasty flavors that provide exciting alternatives to the same old chocolate and vanilla. But if you like the same old chocolate, their Chocolate Wave will not disappoint. It tastes like a tall, delicious glass of chocolate milk.

Kick start your recovery process by taking one of these convenient single serve packets with you for after your next workout!

How to use it?

We love to mix this up in a blender bottle after an intense cardio or endurance session. Mixes easy, tastes great, and gives muscles exactly what they need to perform the following day. Mix one serving with 8-12 oz. of water or your favorite milk or milk alternative for an easy to digest, on the go protein packed recovery drink! Drink within 30-60 minutes of a hard session to kickstart the recovery process.
