Our hats are off to Vega on this one. Not only does this product feature the 4:1 ratio of carbs to protein recommended for the greatest recovery (because it restores muscle glycogen, reduces inflammation, rehydrates…), but it also tastes out of this world. While many recovery drinks are thick, and hard to get down, especially after a grueling workout, this one has it nailed, if Goldilocks was picking the recovery drink that was “just right” it would be this one. It’s not too thick, it’s not to thin, it falls somewhere between a milkshake and an electrolyte drink.

We’ve also found because it’s much lighter than other recovery drinks it’s great to consume when you're between final sets, or winding down from a run.
