Health Warrior Chia Bars were created by former collegiate athletes looking to improve the quality of on the go nutrition products. After reading the book "Born to Run", they decided to make Health Warrior bars and harness the power of the Chia Seed. This nutrient-dense, plant-based 'runner's food' has been used for centuries by Aztec warriors and messengers on cross-empire journeys, and the Tarahumara Indians on their legendary long-distance runs.

Best Breakfast

These bars may be small but I always have either my a.m organic coffee with them or water if I'm on the run and they satisfy my hunger. They taste great but keep the box in a ziplock bag as they will get stale and hard if you don't burn through them quickly (as I do). Also, get them from Health Warrior here on Prime or you may get a rock hard box, it's happened to me. I'm addicted to these and have 2 per day.

Tastes great

They taste really good and have a nice crunch. They are quite small, smaller than the snack bars they sell which is why the caloric content is low. The ingredients are very healthy which matters to me. I did not reorder due to the price. I carry snack bars for hiking and due to its small size, I felt it was expensive otherwise I would have reordered. Recommended for people who don't need to be so frugal.

Quality, Not Quantity

At first, your purchase might seem like a ripoff because the bars are small in comparison to what you're use to, but I feel everything else makes up for it. Each bar is packed with Chia seeds and the ingredients are natural. I've tried a few flavors so far: 1. Coconut- probably my favorite. Lightly sweetened and addicting. 2. Coffee- definite coffee flavor (slightly bitter aftertaste) and mini chocolate chips to balance it out. 3. Banana Nut- I thought this would be my favorite but I like my bananas ripe and sweet. So I was expecting it to taste like banana nut bread. However, the smell or taste of banana isn't overwhelming. 4. Cherry Chocolate- I bought this flavor because it was cheaper and it turned out to being my second favorite! If you have a sweet tooth but looking for a healthier alternative, try this one out!

Great tasting, Compact, and Good Fuel

Tried these for the first time over the weekend. I was blown away by how great they tasted. Most other bars taste more or less the same to me, with the exception of Taos bars, which taste amazing but are a little too dense and heavy for a good trail run. Health Warrior Chia Bars are great. I could literally see the slices of mango in my bar, slivers of coconut in the coconut flavored one. Did I mention these bars are small? They're tiny and light, and have about the same calories as a Rip Van Waffel at about a third of the size! These are now my go-to bars for trail runs.

Chia bars are great

I enjoy eating one of these bars every morning between breakfast and lunch. They have 4 g of protein and just 100 cal. The bars have a chocolatey, peanut buttery flavor and the Chia seeds add a bit of a crunch.
