These cookies are special because Chef Lentine Alexis (notorious for her role with SRAM, Specialized, Rapha, and more) baked each by hand in Boulder. Using locally sourced grains from Colorado and premium Guittard Chocolate.
Instead we’ve taken a few favorite treat recipes and reformulated them to make them easy to digest + lower-glycemic, while still including the ingredients your body needs for long endurance efforts.
The Chocolate comes from Guittard, without sacrificing an ounce of flavor. Guittard uses coconut sugar to formulate a 72% chocolate with a low glycemic index, is keto and paleo friendly, without using any sugar alcohols. This combination makes it the perfect ingredient to marry the artistry of chocolate with the pursuit of athleticism.
The best use for this cookie is on long, steady, endurance efforts that allow your body to best process the fiber and protein, or for efforts that are longer than 3 hours where you need your sports nutrition to not only fuel your effort, but also to prevent hunger.
