# The Feed > The Feed is an online sports nutrition store for endurance athletes. It stocks products from more than 300 brands covering fuel, hydration, supplements, and recovery gear. Matt Johnson founded The Feed while managing a Tour de France cycling team. He observed that better nutrition gave World Tour riders measurable performance gains in training and in competition, and he built The Feed to make that same level of nutritional planning available to athletes at all ability levels. The company structures fueling around three points in a workout: what to eat before, during, and after. That framework has been tested and adjusted over more than ten years using input from over 200,000 athletes. Individual needs vary by sport, body, diet, and training goals, so The Feed provides tools to build a personalized plan around those factors. The Feed favors natural products, rotates inventory every few weeks to keep stock fresh, and carries NSF Certified for Sport products for athletes who require third-party verification.
