The first month of 2025 came in fast and heavy. What is usually a fairly lethargic month filled with base training, season preparations, and little racing to follow kept us on our toes. We aren’t complaining – here are the highlights of January at The Feed.
From major early season race results to exciting new product launches and partnerships, January was a kickstart to our year. Our HPT athletes crushed in in the sunny hemisphere at RADL GRVL, The Feed launched into the hybrid athlete space, and new products were brought to the shelves. Here’s a look at what went down in January:
Strava’s Year in Sport Recap
We kicked off the year partnering with Strava to launch special Strava’s Year in Sport bottles, which served as a training highlight reel from athletes’ year in 2024. Whether you racked up PRs, crushed elevation gains, or just stayed consistent, the data showed how our endurance community continues to push limits. Fame is temporary, kudos are forever.
New Products at The Feed
January also saw the launch of a few brands onto The Feed shelves. Archmax, a brand that’s all about lightweight, performance-driven gear, has been a big ultra-running brand and provides high-quality running belts, vests, and compression gear.
Additionally, Fitbiomics came on board with two revolutionary probiotic products: Nella and V-Nella. Nella is the “performance probiotic” – a unique probiotic decoded and isolated from the microbiomes of the fittest and healthiest people in the world. V-Nella is a one-of-a-kind lactic acid metabolizer, allowing you to utilize that byproduct and fight fatigue.
Radl Grvl Podium Finishes
Gravel season is already heating up! At Radl Grvl, HPT Athlete Brendan Johnston took 1st place in the men’s race, while Melisa Rollins secured 2nd place, and Hannah Shell finished a strong 8th in the women’s. Additionally, our multi-sport athletes Josh Amberger and Ashleigh Gentle finished 1st and 2nd in their respective age groups! Expect to see a lot more from them as the season rolls on. It is just January!
HYROX Las Vegas
HYROX Vegas marks the first official event of the “hybrid space” move that The Feed has made. This season will see 5 new athletes join the HPT and will push The Feed into the world of HYROX.
Our athletes at HYROX Vegas put on a show, and The Feed athletes came out strong:
Lauren Weeks took 1st place in the women’s
Joanna Wietrzyk locked in 2nd place in the women’s
Hunter McIntyre finished 2nd in the men’s race
James Kelly was 4th place in the men’s race
Rich Ryan in 8th in the men’s race
January set the bar high, and we’re just getting started. Stay tuned for more monthly recaps on our happenings at The Feed – from big races, fresh gear drops, and anything in between.
