One of Rodeo Lab’s founders, Stephen Fitzgerald, has a family connection with a bakery in the Pacific Northwest. Bake Works is run by his dad and his brother and has been a family business for almost 20 years. When we say bakery, we mean a fully modern food creation facility that serves healthy (and guilty pleasure) products to millions of people around the USA every year. They had previously asked to sponsor a team, but didn’t have any products that fit well with sports nutrition. Enter Rodeo Labs.
Rodeo Labs decided to collaborate with them to dream up a bar of their own the way they wanted it done: Simple, all natural, and delicious. The result is the Rodeo Trail Nugget! Date-based with delicious mix ins like almonds, beets, lemon oil or peanut butter, these bars are all natural and totally delicious. The flavor is so light and pure, and the texture is soft enough to be eaten and digested easily. Everyone at The Feed, UNANIMOUSLY, says they are amazing! Feed's Fave: Lemon Almond Hot Date
We use it 1-2 hours before low-intensity exercise or during long duration, low-intensity exercise. If you eat them during intense exercise, take small bites to allow for digestion.
A Rip Van Wafel is distinguished from your standard waffle. Inspired on the traditional Amsterdam stroopwafel but much lower in sugar (3g) while still delivering on the carbs (19g), dutchman Rip started making these in his dorm room as a college senior at Brown University.
Rip Van Wafels use simple NON-GMO ingredients, the same kind you’d use if you made them in your own kitchen like eggs, flour, sugar, baking soda and salt. Plus a few nutritious ingredients like, oats, chickpea flour and flax seed oil for an extra dose of Omega 3s. They are soft, easy to chew and don’t pack an overdose of calories or carbs. They’re perfect.
We truly believe there is no wrong time to have a wafel. First thing in the morning they go great topped with greek yogurt, nuts and dried fruit or with a steaming cup of coffee. Mid-morning they make a great snack. Slap some nut butter on them and they make the perfect sandwich. Enjoy them placed on top of your 3pm cup of coffee as it cools down and taste a perfectly warmed wafel. Let them carry you through your evening workout, and if you give us time I’m sure we can find a way to make dinner with them.

This versatile product can be consumed anytime. We like to take it with us and eat it on our way to a workout to make sure we have a properly fueled stomach.
GU Energy Gels have been a staple of fueling for endurance sports for the past 20 years. Created for daily training and competition, GU Energy Gel provides energy-dense calories in a portable packet to help sustain energy demands of any duration or activity. The 100-calorie packet contains carbohydrates (maltodextrin and fructose) that use non-competing pathways to help maximize carbohydrate absorption while diminishing stomach distress. Sodium, the primary electrolyte lost in sweat, aids in hydration by maintaining water balance and optimizing nutrient delivery. Take one gel with 8 oz. of water 30-60 minutes before a training session or competition. Take one additional gel every hour of exercise, especially for training or competition lasting longer than 2 hours. As mentioned above, be sure to drink water with the gel to optimize its fuel delivery and prevent dehydration. One serving is three blocks, or half of a tube. During your workouts lasting longer than an hour, we suggest eating 2-3 blocks every 20-30 minutes. If you tend to have stomach issues with chews, eating less than 3 blocks at a time may be more manageable. The key is once you begin eating blocks, or any fast-acting energy, you need to continue consuming them throughout your workout.
