Picky Bar was born with the desire to break-away from the traditional energy bar and transition to something more nutritious and wholesome.  Jesse, Lauren and Steph, owners and pro athletes, each had very specific needs that weren’t met by another bar on the market… until now. How We Use It

We like to bring this trendy bar with use for after our workout. There is no need to be "picky" when it comes to selecting a flavor, they are all delicious. 

Bobo's Oat Bars have been a local Boulder favorite for over 10 years. Bobo started baking bars in her kitchen and hasn't lost her home-made taste even though she has out-grown her kitchen! We love Bobo's because they are they are calorie dense, yet don't feel like a firm brick when you bite into them.

How We Use It

Bobo’s Oat Bars are ideal as a grab-and-go breakfast, a midday snack, or fuel for long endurance sports. If you're training with Bobo's, we recommend eating half a bar at a time to give your body the chance to digest them properly.

These are our go-to product for that mid workout boost. This product allows us to avoid bonking mid workout with out overpowering us with a sticky, overly sweet flavor.

How We Use It

Skratch is our go- to drink during a long, hard workout! Packed with electrolytes, it's great to keep you hydrated and fueled for the remainder of your workouts. 

The ProBar Bolt Chew is gluten free, dairy free and organic. Each chew is bite-sized and has a great blend of electrolytes, complex carbohydrates and B-vitamins to ensure you get the nutrition you need during exercise. The flavor is subtle and slightly tart. They also have a consistency more akin to fruit snacks. They are easy to consume on rides and give the perfect hit of energy when you need it.

It is important to remember to consume water with these chews when using them during exercise.

How We Use It

We use these chews right before exercise or during medium-high intensity exercise. If we're feeling extra tired, we opt for the Berry Blast of Raspberry flavors which contain caffeine from yerba mate. Wash these bad boys down with a little water and receive that perfect hit of energy.

In contrast to most gels, the Honey Stinger Original Gel is simple. It’s all about honey. Honey! Honey! Honey. It has the following ingredients: honey, pure water, potassium, citrate, Vitamin B3, Vitamin B5, Vitamin B6, Vitamin B2, Vitamin B1, Vitamin B12. While the Organic Gel is more about different flavors, this gel is 100% honey. If you like honey, you’ll like this gel. It also has more carbs and more potassium than its Organic counterpart.

If you are a fan of using pure honey during exercise, nothing beats these gels. Whether exercising or not, we like to carry Gold gel with us in case of bonking emergencies. We love the taste and always have a couple in our back pocket in case of an emergency. They also make for a great bartering when stranded with a flat and in need of a tube.
