Hydration is a crucial component to your training. Without proper hydration one cannot expect to push your body to it’s limits. Prior to your workout, competition or adventure, rub PR Lotion into working muscles. Following an especially taxing training day or competition, apply after to affected muscle groups to speed recovery. Use one application per muscle group.
AmpHP suggests, cyclists and runners should apply a liberal amount from the tube to each leg, including hams, quads, calves and shins. Swimmers and weightlifters should rub a liberal amount from the tube into shoulders, biceps, triceps and forearms. Remember to wash or wipe hands after application.

So how is this "Gel"different? It is packaged in a similar one time use packet like others but that's the only thing that is the same. It's texture is more like Jello and for sure easy to take down. The Gel 100 contains 60% carbohydrates, comes in 40g servings and you don't need to wash it down with water. (YES! No water.....we're in!) It doesn't taste very sweet, you could almost say it’s flavorless like Maurten's other products. Mix Drink Mix 160 or 320 with water, and you’ll have a liquid sports drink containing high concentrations of maltodextrin and fructose. If you like calorie drink mixes, this is the BEST option to try on all intensity workouts. Be careful on the amount of water you use and pay attention to that detail. 17oz or 500ml is the amount you are looking for. The mix is designed to be mixed with water with <40mg/L calcium content. Higher levels can affect how it's dissolved. Maurten is careful to say that the functionality of this ratio is key for it to work well. Also, make sure you shake well until the solution dissolves. Drink it before, during and/or after your activity.
