At The Feed we never overlook the importance of breakfast. Most of the time we're on the go and have to grab what we can. However, the days when we find an extra few minutes in the morning, we love to heat up the griddle and make Birch Benders Pancakes. Birch Bender Pancakes are unique because they only require water, and they taste great. When you're on the go, Birch Benders are a great way to cook homemade pancakes every morning!
Feed's fave: Chocolate Chip
We've found that following the instructions on the packaging works great, provided you keep your pan at the right medium temperature. If your pan is a little on the hot side, these pancakes can stick. Oh...and we highly recommend adding butter or ghee to the pan for some extra flavor! We've also added Eden-Dried Blueberries to the mix and of course a generous pour of Untapped maple syrup!

Rip Van Wafels use simple NON-GMO ingredients, the same kind you’d use if you made them in your own kitchen like eggs, flour, sugar, baking soda and salt. Plus a few nutritious ingredients like, oats, chickpea flour and flax seed oil for an extra dose of Omega 3s. They are soft, easy to chew and don’t pack an overdose of calories or carbs. They’re perfect.
We truly believe there is no wrong time to have a wafel. First thing in the morning they go great topped with greek yogurt, nuts and dried fruit or with a steaming cup of coffee. We recommend consuming 1 to 2 pieces of the Enduro Bites during training and racing, depending on your fueling strategy. We use these chews right before exercise or during medium-high intensity exercise. If we're feeling extra tired, we opt for the Berry Blast of Raspberry flavors which contain caffeine from yerba mate. Wash these bad boys down with a little water and receive that perfect hit of energy.
Wild Zora Meat and Veggie Snacks have to be tasted to be believed. Trust us, you might approach them with trepidation but one bite and you'll be hooked! Wild Zora Meat and Veggie Snacks are the best of both worlds, you're getting 8 grams of protein from the 100% grass-fed beef as well as nutrients from veggies like red bell peppers, tomatoes, chili peppers and kale, all held together with dried apricots. We love these bars! We typically eat them several hours after a long, tough workout. They're delicious, and it's impossible to eat just one bar. They're packed with protein, so are a tasty way to recovery and refuel!
Okay. So everyone loves to use the word epic. And we were pretty skeptical at first that bars with flavor combinations like Beef Habanero Cherry would be any good but Oh.. My… they’re epic. These bars 100% deserve their name. If you like beef jerky, this is beef jerky elevated to the next level. These bars are 100% organic, made from the finest ingredients, paleo friendly and, well, epic. When you first open the wrapper you will instantly be struck by the intense ingredients. Don’t be scared, take a bite and savour it. Epic bars are heavy, and we do not suggest eating them during intense workouts. But because of the high protein and fat content they make great recovery, and great meal replacements.
Feed’s Fave: Bison Bacon Cranberry. Oh heck, all of them.
These bars taste great, but remember that they aren't a traditional energy bar. Made with beef, turkey or bison, the Epic Bar is a product everyone should try! We use them for long days in the office, post strength workouts or meal replacements on travel days.
This was one of our first recovery mixes at The Feed....it tastes great and it works. We use Fluid Recovery after any medium-high intensity workout lasting longer than 90 minutes. If you're workout is shorter, but very intense (45-60 minutes), this product also works. For intense workouts less than 60 minutes in duration, watch those calories and consider this as a meal replacement.
